General Programs

• National Health Service Corps. supports students through loan repayment and scholarship programs. Award recipients dedicate 2 years of service at an approved site. For all health professions.
• Indian Health Services Scholarship Program offers three scholarships to help qualified American Indian and Alaska Native candidates move forward with their education and pursue careers in health care professions.
• Indian Health Services Loan Repayment Program awards up to $20,000 per year for the repayment of qualifying health professions education loans. Award recipients agree to a two-year obligation to practice at an Indian health program site.
• AT Anderson Memorial Scholarship, American Indian Science & Engineering Society provides scholarships to college students pursuing degrees in the sciences, engineering, medicine, natural resources, and math.
• Gates Millennium Scholars Program will select 1,000 talented students to receive a good-through-graduation scholarship to use at any college or university of their choice. Gates Millennium Scholars are provided with personal and professional development through leadership programs along with academic support throughout their college career.

• League of United Latin American Citizens National Scholarship Fund brings together local fund raising efforts with corporate partners to provide over $750,000.00 in scholarships to all levels of degree-seeking students each year.
• American Indian Graduate Center provides fellowships and loans for service to American Indian and Alaska Native undergraduate and graduate students.

• Minority Nurse Nursing Scholarships Database features scholarships intended specifically for minority students

Dental

• National Dental Association/Colgate Palmolive Scholarship supports underrepresented minority students at various stages of their dental career
• Hispanic Dental Association offers three scholarships for dental students

Physical Therapy

• APTA Minority Scholarship Award supports students enrolled in physical therapy and physical therapy assistant programs.

Occupational Therapy

• American Occupational Therapist Association E.K. Wise Scholarship supports female students pursuing a post baccalaureate entry-level degree program in occupational therapy. Three awards will be granted annually in the amount of $5,000. Students may apply for a second year. 

Veterinary Medicine

• Pfizer Animal Health Veterinary Student Scholarship for second and third year veterinary medical students awards approximately 250 scholarships of $2,500 each to assist students in paying for their professional education.
